Kerrie-Anne Heron, M.D.
Dr. Heron entered private practice in Wilson in 2003. She earned her baccalaureate from Emory University and her medical degree from Duke University. Dr. Heron completed her Internal Medicine residency at Emory University in Atlanta. She is board certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Heron is married to Dr. Damon Tweedy who is a psychiatrist in the Durham VA Medical Center and Assistant Professor at Duke University. She is the proud mother of 2 active boys.
David Kiragu, M.D.
Dr. Kiragu earned his baccalaureate at Eastern Nazarene College and went on to get his medical degree at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at The University of Chicago North Shore where he also served as chief resident. Dr. Kiragu spent his first years of practice as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at The University of Chicago before joining Wilson Medical Group in August of 2015.
Dr. Kiragu’s interests include preventive health and management of chronic disease. He and his wife Jessica, a licensed professional counselor, are the proud parents of a son and two daughters.
David Propst, PA-C
David Propst is a NC native. He earned his undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University and a master degree as a Physician Assistant from East Carolina University. He is a veteran of the US Army and National Guard with combat service in Iraq.
David is married to his wife Abby, and has three children, Gabriella, Gideon and Graylee. He enjoys family time and exercise and is an active member of Wilson Community Church.
Brittany Marshburn, PA-C
Brittany Marshburn is a certified Physician Assistant and native of Wendell, NC. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology from North Carolina State University and a Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies from East Carolina University.
Brittany enjoys spending time at the beach and cheering on the NC State Wolfpack! She is married to Adam Marshburn, a City of Raleigh firefighter.
